Qualifications

I have undergraduate and masters degrees in history from the University of Glasgow. Currently, I am a doctoral researcher in the Department of History at the University of York: Joe Saunders - University of York.

Since 2020 I have been an Associate of AGRA, the Association of Genealogists and Researchers in Archives, the professional body for our field in England and Wales: Joe Saunders : Genealogist

In 2023 I was elected an Associate Fellow of the Royal Historical Society.
